our pottery and yoga retreat includes all meals, morning and sunset yoga, and 8 hours of pottery on saturday and sunday.

faq’s

  • what are morning pages?

    morning pages are done first thing in the morning and are three pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing. There is no wrong way to do morning pages

  • where is the retreat?

    the retreat is on the beach in cloverdale, oregon. from our home you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, long walks on the beach, campfires, & access to miles of trails.

  • what pottery tools are provided?

    the retreat fee includes all clay for the weekend, basic throwing tools (sponge, needle tool, and two styles of wooden rib tools), access to pottery wheel and slab roller. we’ll be working with underglaze and stroke & coat.

  • do i need to have pottery experience to come?

    no you do not need pottery experience to register. we welcome anyone with a positive attitude and interest in clay to join.

  • are payment plans available?

    yes, please use code “deposit” to pay 50% of the registration fee now, and 50% later. use code “privatepaymentplan” to to make a $500 deposit on a private room or “bunkpaymentplan” to make a $500 deposit on a bed in our shared room. deposit and the remaining balance will be charged monthly via stripe and completed by july 31st.

  • what is the work turnaround time?

    we will have your work fired & ready two weeks following the retreat.

  • i use (he/him) pronouns, can i come?

    no you cannot join us for this event. a safe place for women and gender minorities is essential and we are excited to create this space.

  • how can i get to the event?

    you are responsible for getting yourself to the retreat site. we will connect all guests before the event to coordinate carpooling.

  • do i need yoga experience?

    not at all, our yoga classes are accessible to a first-time yogi, and are composed of postures that can be built on by anyone looking for more fire on the mat.

  • what time do we need to arrive on thursday?

    check-in and happy hour begin at 7 pm on thursday

  • can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

    yes, please let us know your dietary restrictions and we will make sure your food is tailored to your needs.

  • what do i need to bring

    please bring clothes for for limbering up in yoga, getting messy on the wheel, swimming in the pacific and hanging around the house. don’t forget your toiletries as well as any of your personal pottery tools that you might want to use over the weekend.

cancellation policy

our cancellation policy is in place to protect the sustainability of our business. we will not modify our cancellation policy under any circumstance. we highly recommend trip protection in order to protect your investment, especially in these uncertain times.

90% of the total cost of your trip will be refunded if we are given more than 60 days notice

50% of the total cost of your trip will be refunded if we are given 30-59 days notice

15% of the total cost of your trip will be refunded if we are given less than 30 days notice
